Fabulous location in the heart of the city. Next to Hakata's famed yatai riverside food carts that pop up at night, very close to multiple transit options, and within a few minutes' walk to countless restaurants, bars, etc, plus not that far from Canal City, old shrines, the business area, etc. While it's alongside Fukuoka's (in)famous Nakasu 'entertainment' district, we never experienced any kind of threatening/seedy vibe that's apparent in other red-light districts, even late in the evening. Rooms are surprisingly comfortably sized for a business-focused Japanese hotel. Hotel offers two different breakfast areas, one a Western-style buffet, other a more traditional Japanese-style with wait staff.

Great location, one minute from Nakasu Kawabata station (metro Kuko line), five minutes to the Hakataza Theater, Riverain Mall; walkable to Tenjin and Canal City Hakata. Breakfast buffet at Itono akari restaurant - variety of food, lots of vegetable dishes, separate rooms for each group with a lovely view of the river. Hot water boiler and tea in room. Nice bed, nice bath.

Natalie

The triple room was bright with good space. Two breakfast buffet options were available. The experience at the Japanese restaurant was memorable as the dining rooms and cutlery provided a Japanese feel. It was very helpful that the receptionist could help with calling a taxi to the airport.
